The night outside

BANG, a noise in the night
The pounding of your heart in fright
You wonder who
But the dark it shows no clue

The moon as pale as snow
The stars shining far and low
A noise echo's through the night
But nothing can be seen from plain sight

Dream Night

We lay awake at night
Thinking about life
About our worries and problems
Hoping someone will solve them

Each hour like a second
As the darkness outside lightens
Our eyes begin to close
As we drift off into a doze

The morning dawn brakes
And people stir and wake
Our worries and problems are gone
As we dreamt them all along

Our world

The flowers and the trees
The birds and the bees
The sand on the beach
And the big blue sea

The breeze which flows through the sky
And the clouds that stay way up high
The drop of rain that falls on your face
And the peoples warm embrace

The soft grass under your feet
And the sound of the nearby stream
This is our world
And its all we can see

Starshine

Stars so bright they shine
Like diamonds in the sky
What magic lies hidden?
We do not know its forbidden

They twinkle in our eyes 
As we look up at the sky
Wishing our dreams to come true
But the stars they show no clue

They hide during the day
As the bright blue takes their place
They come back out at night
The stars they shine so bright

Love

I sometimes look up and wonder
Thinking of that special someone
Of his bright blue eyes
Knowing he'll never be mine

Is there such a thing as love?
Ask people and they just shrug
I do not know what love is
All i know is it starts like this

Universe Slumber

We look at the sky and wonder

The rest of the world in slumber

What if there is a world of love and new life

While others qual at the thought of hate and fright

We look at the space around us

The stars shining upon us

The moon as pale as fright

Its rough surface blocking the light

What lies ahead for the world

Destruction or happieness fullfilled

This is what we wonder

As the universe is in slumber
